Ronnie O’Sullivan is planning “a new life elsewhere” after a crushing semifinal defeat in the Snooker World Championship.
He has revealed that he is moving to the Middle East, admitting “I don’t know how the future really seems to me.”
The search for O’Sullivan for an eighth melting title ended abruptly with a place of 17-7 to Zhao Xingong.
The Chinese star dominated the game, won the eight paintings in the morning session and sealed the fate of O’Sullivan at night.
O’Sullivan’s preparation for the championship was not conventional. He had been absent from the tour since January, removing in the middle of the championship league tournament after taking his frustration signal.
This followed a chain of poor results, releases four out of five games.
Through the World Championship, O’Sullivan struggled to find consistency with his new signal, crossing three tips and changing both the tip and the splint after the first session of the semifinal.
The 49 -year -old man admitted uncertainty about his future in sport.
He said: “I think I’m going to move from the United Kingdom this year. A new life elsewhere.
“I will still try to play snooker, but I don’t know how the future looks for me really.
“I will move soon I only see how there are many more important things in life than to worry that a pool game.
“For me, it is a large part of my life, but I must try to discover how my future looks, whether playing or not.”
O’Sullivan said he would move “towards the Middle East”, but that he could return within six months.

“Who knows,” he said.
“There will be some changes in my life, so we will see how it is going.”
When asked if he would like to throw his sign a long distance after his exit, O’Sullivan added: “I won to launch it.
“The people of the merchandise because it will be on sale. But I will launch it.”
