Luis Díaz has revealed that his representatives are talking to other clubs.
Liverpool rejected a Barcelona approach for the far of Colombia and has insisted that it is not on sale.
And Díaz said he is happy in Anfield and that he does not want to leave, but he is considering alternatives in case Liverpool does not give him the right offer for a new agreement.
The contract of the former Porto end expires in 2027, he thought he said he is content to stay in Anfield over the next two years.
Díaz said: “I am very happy in Liverpool. From the first day, they really felt welcome. At this moment we are in contact with them because we talked with [other] clubs. It is normal, the market is open and we are trying to solve what is best for us.
“I am waiting to see what happens. If Liverpool does not make a good sacrifice, I still have two years of reading them, I would be happy and happy to stay there. And that’s all, everything depends on them obviously, it is obviously”
Díaz scored 17 goals in all competitions last season, including 13 in the Premier League, since it helped Liverpool recover the title of the Premier League.
The sports director of Barcelona, Deco and the manager Hansi Flick, have had their interest in Díaz while seeking to add another advance to their team.
