Conor Benn admitted that “the defeat is difficult to swallow” and that he is “revenge” of Seijs after they gave him a defeat by unanimous decision in his grudge with Chris Eubank Jr in Tottenham Hotspur Stage.
Benn received the first defeat of his professional career with the three judges scoring a decision of 116-112 in favor of Eank Jr.
The couple, whose parents fought twice in the 1990s, put a show in northern London in what will be a fighting contender of the year.
“It’s hard to swallow,” Benn from weeping eyes said to a press conference.
“I did not go into the fight thinking that I would be so close, I did not enter to lose, I entered to win and it was not good enough and I need to do better.”
He continued: “I want revenge, I want my revenge.
“I think the inactivity played an important role, I think it took me back. Eubank hurt several times, but I could get to the end and I will make sure that the next time the end is there.”
Despite qualifying his son as a “misfortune” for his slap slap in February in Benn, Chris Eank SR was on his son’s corner while they settled in a public fall.
The victory for the 35 -year -old means that Eubank’s name remains at the top of the Benn after his father’s victory and a draw against Nigel Benn in the 1990s.
“Much, it was special,” said Eubank Jr about his father’s appearance as an impulse. “I needed to be here, all this is due to what we did and we did again.
“I am happy to have this man with me. I have confirmed the last name as we said we were going to go, therefore, it approaches and up.
“The fact that our parents did what they do so many years ago, takes another soul and spirit and that is what we both show tonight.”
Eubank JR did not attend his press conference after the fight after being sent to the hospital to check the checks.
“Everything surprised me, I knew I had what I had in him,” Eank Jr added about Benn.
“I thought I would break it early, I underestimated it, I did not train for a fight like that, he has never demonstrated that, then, again, he never had to show it, he had to show it tonight and I too.”
