As a 6’2 ″ woman, I know the challenges of finding clothes that fit. The sleeves are too short, the pants go up and the playsuits attract all the wrong places. Finding clothing for high women becomes a shopping fight, with our long torsos and limbs.
Trust me, I’ve been there, I did that and get the shirt too full. But after decades of being so high, I have managed to find some incredible brands that meet our needs, and collected some internal tips and tricks to help him obtain pieces that adjust and flatter his body. Well, let’s jump to my upper line advice!
General tips
Know your measures
Then compare the thesis with those of the models when they buy online. For example, if you see a dress in a woman of 5’8 ″ and looks short in it, it will probably make you a bleeding if you have about 6 feet! You can also compare measurements such as inner sewing with the length list of the pants on a website, to help you find funds that fit.
Compare
If the style of an element allows, the dimensioning can add valuable cm to the length of the sleeves, legs and bodies. I almost always give ladies in jumpers, coats and jackets to get an additional width very necessary on shoulders and length in sleeves.
Bow down in a 3/4 sleeve
If an upper part or a sweater has sleeves that are small but too short, roll them up and make it look intentional!
Midi dresses are key
They have the greatest change of all dress styles of hitting us in a flattering length.
Find elements that are adjustable
As dresses, sports bras and tops with adjustable straps, which can help them adjust our long torsos.
Human store
If you are buying items that are more unexpected such as pictures, salon clothes and outdoor equipment, it can be worth navigating the section for men. They tend to add an extra inch or two to the length of each element and sometimes have “regular” and “long” options.
The best brands and clothing for high women
Only a warning that thesis brands focus on the United Kingdom since I am in London, but many of them are sent worldwide. These are some of my favorite brands that I have found that make you find clothes for high women is a little easier!
The high ranges
There are a handful of brands that have quite extensive high ranges, these include Asos, Karen Millen, Topshop, New Look, Marks and Spencer. These are my reference stores when I am navigating almost anything. However, as well as these high ranges, some “regular” brands are usually a bit better to obtain certain articles.
Dresses and skirts
Abercrombie and House of CB have multiple length options available in many of their dresses. The reform, the stories of Arket and andher do not have high ranks, but I think they are generally a little longer in the body and sleeves than other brands.
Jeans
The nudie jeans, the height of fashion and high asos are the best of the best, both offer multiple options in leg length so that you can choose their perfect combination of waist and inspection delivery. River Island can also have a limited selection or very long high jeans. Marks and Spencer, Boden and Mint velvet sacrifice multiple lengths in many of their styles. Holland Cooper also does, but there are not so many options available.
If you are tall but not with about 6 feet, I would say that Abercrombie and Levi longer lengths would also work for you.
Active clothing
Lululemon is the best friendly clothing brand for high girls, their sleeves are long, they have multiple deliveries of deliveries and quality is a dream. There are a handful or other brands that also sacrifice multiple legging lengths: unactive, adanola, nneopine, fablética, Vuori and Oysho.
An honor mention is for LND, since although they do not have super long leggings, they offer multiple short lengths and their sports fasteners are mostly adjustable.
Pants
When it comes to pants, I buy mainly in the high specific ranges. However, I recently found Ninepine that sacrifice multiple lengths in all their pants, and are super comfortable. I have asked for your “relaxed straight pants” in multiple colors and I love them.
Mint Velvet and Boden offer many of their pants in longer lengths and the pants me+em generally have an additional length, so it can be trying some of your styles to see if they work for you.
Outdoor clothes
Honestly, for most hiking teams, I only buy from ranges for men. However, there is a brand that really encourages excellent to serve high women and that is Acai. They sell tight hiking and flattering pants that come in four different Leghs, including an “extra long” that reaches my rings. In addition, their base layers have super long sleeves that keep my dolls pleasant and cozy.
Dungars and Playsuits
Lucy and Yak are well known for their colorful and fun Dungars and Playsuits, which they offer in small, regular and high. While I find some of their designs a bit too short for my 6 -foot 2 frame, they would be perfect for women a little less lanky than me.
And most importantly, its height is its power. Pose it and proudly use it!
