Tom Cruise has captured heat for a “sad” comment that he did when he mentioned Father’s Day.
Fans have questioned Cruise’s response to a journalist who brought the issue at the New York premiere in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
Cruise tripped a little when asked about his plans the day, which Americans will mark on June 15.
“Father’s Day is just around the corner,” said the interviewer before the movie star, “how would an ideal day be seen for the father for you?”
Having happily committed to the conversation for several minutes before the question, Action Star Cruise, 62, stopped before working quickly to change the subject.
