Four women who previously worked as housewives for Smokey Robinson and his wife, Frances Robinson, filed a civil lawsuit against him in the Superior Court of Los Angeles.
The lawsuit accuses Motown’s legend of repeated sexual assault, harassment and another duration of serious behavior of its employment.
The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, identifies the plaintiffs anonymously as Jane 1 to 4.
Women claim that Robinson, 85, subjected them to ‘repeated sexual assaults and sexual harassment’ in their Chatsworth residence and other places, including a house in Las Vegas.
The complaint also appoints Frances Robinson as accused, citing his role in the creation of a hostile work environment and does not intervene despite being supposedly aware of her husband’s misconduct.
