Bitget has joined the Sahyog portal of India under the I4C, becoming the last global cryptography exchange to support the Indian police with simplified access to user data and transactions records.
According to an official press release of June 23, Bitget has officially integrated with the Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C) of India to support the law enforcement agencies with digital investigations and compliance.
Integration will allow the Indian authorities to send data requests directly through the centralized platform under the relevant provisions of Indian Law, such as section 94 of the Technology Law of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita section.
“The regulatory and application panorama of India around digital assets is rapidly evolving, and alignment with initiatives such as Sahyog highlights a practical step forward.” Hon NG said, legal director at Bitget.
The Sahyog portal, launched by the I4C, serves as a unified interface for the police to collect and manage legal requests related to digital platforms. The portal allows the authorities to access transaction records, user data and other digital tests required for I4C active investigations.
According to an earlier report by Hindustan Times, more than 45 exchanges have already been integrated into the SAHYOG system. This includes national and international players such as Wazirx, Kucin and Bybit. The authorities told HT that the efforts are also on the tora to carry more important global platforms such as Binance to the portal.
