The Chemishield platform based on the cloud, which transforms how chemical waste is managed in laboratories, plans to add 50 new roles in its Irish operations for 18 months.
Malcolm Bell, CEO of Sustainable Technologies, has made a strategic investment in the chemical waste management platform based on the Chemishield cloud, and joined its board of directors, an investment that will support international expansion and 50 new jobs.
The new roles in sales, support and technology will be fulfilled in the next 18 months, and will help boost Chemishield’s next phase of growth, which includes expanding to the United States, a greater acquisition of customers and development of new products, cordin or gossip.
Bell has a significant history in companies such as medical care, life sciences and sustainability, and as a founder and CEO of Envetec, has led the implementation of clean technologies that allow organizations to transition from solual regulated medical waste.

The Chemishield cloud -based platform replaces traditional manual systems with easy -to -use digital tools that automatic waste classification, regulatory labeling and real -time compliance reports. It focuses on key sectors, including pharmaceutical products, medical care, life and food sciences. The investment will also see the company to explore white label opportunities with global environmental service suppliers.
