Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has agreed to sign a mineral deal with the U.S., President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff told reporters on Thursday. “I think Zelenskyy has offered to sign it, and we’ll see if he follows through,” the special envoy said while standing outside the White House. A phone call between President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over the 25% tariffs imposed by the Trump administration this week grew heated and included profanity, a report said.   The Wall Street Journal cited a person familiar with the matter when describing the nature of the call.
