Our team went to the Kingsway branch just before Easter to put the new line to the test, and the general verdict? A tasty and mostly satisfactory update that plays well with seasonal cravings.
I opted for the petar chicken wrapping, and although it was not as spicy as the suggested name, it had a lovely heat that remained.
The wrapping was full of flavor and grateful not only stuffed with lettuce.
The succulent chicken, the blatant drinks and the outstanding fries steal the show in Leon (Image: NQ personnel) The chicken was succulent and tender, and the size of the portion felt good, enough to be satisfactory without weighing me.
I combined it with raspberry bubbling water, which had a pleasant touch of raspberry, although the carbonated water flavor was stronger.
A colleague chose the Pork Rice box of Korean barbecue with baked fries of Leon, Korean mayonnaise and the new bubbling lime water.
Leon spice at lunchtime with a global turn in fast food favorites (Image: NQ personnel) While pork was beautifully tender and the pickles were the highlight, they were a bit disappointed by the small portion of rice and its slightly dry texture.
That said, Lima’s water was praised for being shameless and refreshing, especially as a palate cleaner after the heat of mayonnaise.
Another member of the team was for Kimchi fries, and they were an outstanding success.
Generously covered with spicy kimchi, Korean mayonnaise and crispy onions, these freored fries were full of blunt flavor and quickly became a favorite.
They also tested the Yuzu lemonade, which was sweet, citrus, and gave the place for a hot day in the capital.
The Passionfruit & Lemon ice cream also fell well.
It was refreshing and not too sweet, a tropical but balanced option that is perfect for when London Real feels like jumping.
A drink that surprised us was watermelon iced tea.
He had a bubble tea atmosphere and had surprisingly flavor with body.
It is a definitive “buy” again for those who want something fruity with a little health kick.
Less popular, unfortunately, it was the salty candy protein shake.
A team member found that the texture overcame and sweetness too much.
While it is delivered in the front of the protein, it may not be for everyone, special for those who are not accustomed to protein shakes.
Of course, no Leon review would be complete without a mention of his Hallumi wrapping, still so squeaky, sticky and satisfactory as always, and a perfect couple with the mayonnaise of spicy Korean.
What stood out in all areas was the attention to detail, the kind service and how well the location of Kingsway handled a great order in the busy Rush Munmunime.
The collection was perfect, the space was clean and the staff was warm and efficient, everything you want when taking a quick bite on the march.
The Leon spring menu combines its healthy fast food firm with a new influence of East Asia and the Mediterranean.
The result is a fresh and colorful selection that serves both loyal and curious customers newcomers equally.
Some articles really shine, such as Kimchi fries, ice cream teas and the pork of Korean barbecue, while Ethers could of a slight yield.
But in general, it is an exciting and energizing update that shows that Leon is not afraid to play with flavor.
Whether looking for a high protein lunch, a light spring sip or simply an excuse to eat more pickles, this menu has been something worth trying.
