The Scottish government will issue a “timely orientation” on the issue of single -sex spaces after the gender ruling of the Supreme Court, said John Swinney.
The prime minister said that a new sexual rights guide is being developed after the Supreme Court ruled that biological sex defines a woman for the purposes of the Equality Law.
But a meeting between the Scottish ministers and the Commission for Equality and Human Rights for Disco of New Guuidancia has been postponed.
Tory Scottish leader, Russell Findlay, urged the prime minister to “put an end to the era of divisive gender policy” following the ruling of the historical court.

The highest court in the United Kingdom ruled the definition of a woman in the 2010 Equality Law is based on biology in a movement that will be important implications for single -sex spaces and services, such as public bathrooms and locker room.
It means that transgender women with a gender recognition certificate (GRC) can be excluded from single -sex spaces for women if “proportional”.
In Prime Minister’s questions, Swinney pressed what the Scottish government is doing with respect to the ruling last week: he had previously argued in court that transgender people with a GRC are entitled to protections based on the same sex as biological women.
The Prime Minister said: “We are retaining the details of the Supreme Court Judgment, receiving the necessary councils of the Commission for Equality and Human Rights on the application of that Council, and that will have a relationship of the judgments and I is made of manufacture of made of made of made made in this are manufactured in this fact done done in this way.
A meeting between the Scottish ministers and the Commission for Equality and Human Rights, the agency responsible for providing guidance on how the Law of Equality in Practice, scheduled for later, has postponed.
This is because the Commission is not due to the fact that it meet with Scottish ministers before they have done so with the United Kingdom government ministers.

The protests were held over the weekend by Pro-Trans activists, and Swinney said he understood why the Trans community would feel “uncertain and anxious” for the court ruling.
Reflecting on the ruling, Russell Findlay said: “Common sense and basic respect for biological truth, have now prevailed thanks to the incredible Scottish women who would not do Wheesht.
“Does John Swinney will finally apologize to the women of Scotland?”
Swinney replied: “The Scottish Government accepts the sentence of the Supreme Court.”
Later in the exchanges, former conservative leader Douglas Ross asked Swinney to answer a “direct” question: “Do you think transmen are women?”
The Prime Minister replied that the Scottish government “accepts the sentence of the Supreme Court that a woman in the 2010 Equality Law is defined by biological sex.”
