Firefighters were called to a fire on the upper floor or block of floors in Loddiges Road at 3.21 pm yesterday (April 23).
Most of a three -bedroom floor on the sixth floor or a block of floors was destroyed by the fire.
The woman left before the brigade arrived at the scene and was tasks for the hospital for the London ambulance service she suffered as smoke inhalation.
The incident ended at 4.41 pm
Homerton’s fire teams, Stoke Newington, Bethnal Green and Shoreditch attended the Fire Stations.
The cause of the fire was accidental and due to the use of an angular sinus too close to combustible materials.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: “Four firefighters and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire on the last floor of Block of Flats in Loddiges Road in Hackney.
“The majority of a three -bedroom floor on the sixth floor or a block of floors was destroyed by the fire.
“A woman left before the brigade arrived at the scene and was tasks to the hospital for the London ambulance service she suffered as smoke inhalation.
“The 999 control officers of the Brigade were called 1521 and the incident ended in 1641.
“Fire Stations from Homerton, Stoke Newington, Bethnal Green and Shoreditch were present.
“The cause of the fire was accidental and due to the use of an angular grinder too close to combustible materials.”
