A main set of 10 stamps will honor men and women who contribute duration of World War II, while a mini leaf or stamps has images of Lady Vera Lynn from different aspects of his career in times of war.
The people presented includes George Arthur Roberts, who was the first black man to join the London Auxiliary Firefighters Service in 1938 and Mary Morris whose newspapers discounted how he took care of the troops who returned wet and dunkerque wounds.
A stamp will also honor John Harrison, who served in the Royal Navy in the destroyer HMS Belfast and was an answer to coin the gun turrets “A” and “B” in the front of the ship.

Royal Mail to use the special VE80 postmar
Royal Mail will apply a posterior manual VE80 in the mail stamped in the anniversary week in May.
The business is also supporting Ve Mail, a card writing initiative that connects schoolchildren with veterans from World War II.

The stamps and a range of collectible products are available to pre-order from Thorsday, on April 24 and will be made for general sale from Thursday, May 1.
