Two women have denied having stalked the family of Madeleine McCann, who disappeared in 2007.
Julia Walk, from Lubin in southwest Poland and Karen Spragg, or Caerau, Cardiff, declared himself innocent in Leicester Crown Court on Tuesday and were told that they would go to trial on October 2.
Mrs. Wandel, 23, is accused of sending letters and messages to Kate, Gerry, Sean and Amelie McCann between January 3, 2024 and February 15 of this year, in addition to going to the family’s house in Rothley, Leicalrshire.
Mrs. Spragg, 60, faces a grave -grave alarm or anguish position between May 3, 2024 and February 21 of this year.
It is alleged that Mrs. Wandel went to McCann’s family home on May 2 and December 7, 2024.
He is also accused of sending a letter, calls, voice messages and WhatsApp messages to Kate and Gerry McCann, and sending Amelie messages and are McCann Instagram.
At the audience, he was returned to custody, while Mrs. Spragg, who also moves away what made calls, sent letters and visited the family home, received a conditional bond.
A hearing has been scheduled to decide if Mrs. Walking will be awarded bail for August.
