Millwall’s goalkeeper Lukas Jensen will disappear for a legal period of time after suffering an Achilles injury.
The Danish plug did not appear in the defeat of Friday’s 4-1 championship against Blackburn Rovers.
Jensen and Liam Roberts support (hip flexor) are insecure and that meant that young George Evans played at Ewood Park.
Millwall has not yet put time in Jensen’s injury, but is ready to mean an extended spell that could also force them to strengthen that position in the summer transfer window.
The 26 -year -old retention was signed from Lincoln City in July.
The Lions suffered the attack of Matija Sarkic in the summer and Jensen arrived to assume the number one place.
He has maintained 15 clean sheets in 43 games in all competitions.
This season’s last Jensen action was a bleached in the 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough in the DEN. He made a vital salvation to deny Marcus’s figs.
Asked about him South London Press Last week to evaluate Jensen’s first campaign with Los Leones, Chief coach Alex Neil said: “He has grown up in stature and confidence in terms of what he is capable of at the level.”
“It is really quite ambitious, which is a good thing. He is not happy, he is just a good goalkeeper at the championship level, he hears pushing himself. There are aspects of his game that have greatly improved this season.
“I still think there are aspects of his game that we must try to improve a little. In general, he has had a great season. More importantly, Saturday (against Boro) was not one of those games in which he was saved after saving.
“Lukas certainly helped us get points over the weekend.”
On several occasions, Millwall players have urged Jensen to sweep their line more aggressively.
Neil said: “It’s a decision for him.
“What we always say is our arrival if a pass is fine, but feels that you need to clean the danger.
“There are a lot of different dynamics: how far is the cross, the players on their way, if they have a key header of the ball, then need to get involved? I have seen enough improvement in a short space of time that all the bits in which we feel that Lukas needs to improve, I am quite sure that they will happen.”
