The family of a 21 -year -old man who was shot and stabbed to death on his way home from a football game has renewed and appealed for help to find those responsible.
Olaji was stabbed and shot in a meaningless attack by two men while traveling East Surrey Grove Estate, near Commercial Way, in Peckham, south of London, on the night of April 21, 2015.
The event had spent a friend watching a football match of the Champions League between Bayern Munich and Porto.
Crimeppers, an independent charity organization, has offered a reward of £ 20,000 for information that leads to the identification and prosecution of those responsible for the murder.
The sisters of Ola, Zainab Raji and Ruki Ware, said that even the smallest evidence of any witness or those with knowledge of what happened “could be enough to put those responsible bars and do everything.”
The sisters added that the anniversary of their brother’s death was “a painful reminder of 10 years of loss: our family will not recover that time.”
They added: “When we met, there is always that feeling of something that is missing. There are children who never know their uncle, who would be so young even now.
“The laugh we share is that a little less noisy. There is an absent smile in the photographs.
“But it is not just our family. It is security in the streets of Pckham and the largest area in southern London. There is no doubt that people who do this could ever go out again similar attacks.”
The Metropolitan Police is partially interested in talking with witnesses on April 21, 2015, described as a woman who conducts a black Vauxhall Corsa in the area between 21:45 BST and 23:00 and two men who returned to an address at 23.
Det Chotr Alex Gammampila, who directs the investigation, said: “Ola was an innocent man, in the wrong place at the worst moment. His murder has devastated his friends and family and those of the local community.
“Ten years later, we continually appeal to anyone who has information to be presented.
“Were you in Peckham that night? Were you also watching football that night or were you near Commercial Way?
“Did you see or listen to the shooting or something that seemed unusual?
“No piece of information is too small and could the final piece of the puzzle that leads us to identify the wave attackers.”
