A murder investigation was launched after a 45 -year -old woman was found with fatal wounds in northern London.
Police officers were called to an Ayley Croft address, Enfield, around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, after the attack reports.
London ambulance service teams and London’s air ambulance, but the woman was declared dead on the scene, also attended.
No trials have been made and the police have appealed to witnesses or anyone with information to present themselves.
The closest woman of the woman has been informed and is being supported, the force said.
Detch Ins Neil John, who directs the investigation, said: “Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this difficult time.
“As our investigation continues, there will be a police presence incoada in the area, and a crime scene remains in place.
“We understand that this will be very distressing for the local community and anyone who has concern can speak with local officers.”
He added that the police were particularly interested in listening to anyone who drove by Ayley Croft, between 18:30 and 19:30, who could have Dashcam images.
