The closure is for “routine and maintenance security inspections.”
It will close from 10 pm on Saturday, April 26 at 5 am on Sunday, April 27.
National Highways has also announced that painting work will take place on the bridge from April to October.
This “will protect some of its metal corrosion components.”
Most of the paint work will be done without interrupting traffic.
In 2024, a temporary walk on the bridge was established for workers to access the areas that need paint.
This will remain in its place on “the coming years.”
However, some areas will need lane closures during the night.
This will be between 10 pm and 5.30 am, with only one open traning lane.
National Highways said: “We will have to install lane closures during the night throughout the bridge.”
