The latest data from the Department of Education revealed that about 18 percent of all state schools in England had or more than their capacity in 2023/24.

It has space for 175 students, but currently 234.
This puts school 34 percent on capacity.
Green Wrythe elementary school also faces overcrowding.
It has 210 students enrolled, despite having space for only 255.
That is about 21 percent about capacity.
The Beddington Infants school is operating with 12 percent on capacity.
There are currently 244 students currently in roll, just although the school is designed for accommodation 217.
Muschamp Primary School and Language Opportunity Base and Stanley Park Junior School are in a similar position.
Both schools have space for 574 and 336 students, but there are 629 and 367 students in roll respectively.
This makes both schools nine percent above capacity.
The Junior Junior Roman Catholic School of St Elphege is also about capacity, with 383 students enrolled there when there is only room for 360 students.

Each of these schools has between 10 and 50 additional students enrolled.
Nensuch primary school, the high school of St Mary’s RC and the primary school of all saints Benhilton Cofe are overpopulated by only three students, and Westbourne Elementary School is crowded by only two.
A school could achieve excessive capacity if more families move to the area or if students’ requests exceed expectations.
While this might seem like a problem, being about capacity is not always a negative sign.
It may reflect the popularity and reputation of the school real, suggestion that its quality of education is to be recognized.
