The accident took place yesterday (April 18) around 8.46 pm, after a police chase in that place of Toks on South Norwood Street.
The Patrol Police followed a vehicle that was suspended to exhibit cloned numbers plates and tried to stop the vehicle on South Norwood street around 8.38 pm
The vehicle did not stop and subsequently crashed with two other vehicles in Wickham Road at the crossroads with Shirley Road.
Three people were released by fire teams after being trapped in a car and three others were tasks for the hospital.
A person of the six has stayed in a storling condition and another man who was driving the persecuted vehicle was declared dead on the scene.
Two 61 -year -old men who were in the persecuted vehicle were also arrested under suspicion of being transported in a stolen vehicle.
A man was also arrested for being in possession of class A drugs and both men remain in police custody.
Road closures were implemented and since then they have risen.
The MET Professional Standards Directorate was informed and a derivation was carried out to the Independent Police Behavior Office (IAPC) after the incident.
A spokesman for the London ambulance service said: “They called us at 8:47 pm on April 18 for reports of a traffic collision near the Junction or Wickham Road and Shirley Road in Croydon.
“We send multiple resources to the scene, including ambulance equipment, incident response officers, members of our Dangerous Area (Hart) response team and an advanced paramedic. We also send the London Air Ambulance.
“We treat seven patients on the scene. Unfortunately, a person was declared dead on the scene. We took a patient to an important trauma center and tok five patients to hospitals.”
