A Catholic priest has appeared in the court accused of attempt of sexual communication with a child.
Fr. Edward Gallagher, or Orchard Park, Lifford, Donegal County, appeared through a video link at a special audience or the Londnderry magistrates court, sitting in Dunganon.
A Northern Ireland police service officer (PSNI) told the court that he could connect to Mr. Gallagher with the positions that they allegedly had tasks in the place of April 2 and 17.
The priest spoke only to confirm his identity and who understood the position.
No bail application was submitted.
The case will return to court in May.
