Overground, Southern and Thameslink Services have been interrupted today after a point failure in Sydenham.
As a result, the lines have blocked the bone, with trains that cannot run between Norwood Junction, Crystal Palace and New Cross Gate, with delays or up to 40 minutes.
National Rail has reported that an interruption is expected to “the end of the day”, with the advisable passengers to review it before traveling.
For Thamelink and Southern customers, there could be delays of up to 40 minutes, and customers reported that they may need to change trains to complete their trips today.
Most of Thameslink services that are executed from the south will not stop at the London bridge, so customers must travel to London Blackfriars.
What services are affected?
- London overwhel between Highbury and Islington and Crystal Palace / West Croydon
- South between London Bridge and Caterham / Uckfield / Eastbourne / Littlehampton
- Thameslink between Bedford and three bridges / Brighton, and between Finsbury Park and Brighton, and also between Peterborough and Horsham
