Three cars were involved in the collision in A282, just before the qeii bridge in Purfleet, around noon yesterday (April 18).
The driver of one of the cars, a silver mercedes, left the scene before police officers arrived.
The other two cars involved in the clash were a black CX-5 Mazda and a gray coupra.
Only a drivers suffered “minor”, said Essex police, but the three cars were damaged.
