Emergency services were called yesterday (April 17) around 8:49 pm to an accident at the Wickham Road and Shirley Roundabout crossing in Croydon.
The scene was attended by the Fire teams of the London Fire Brigade in surrounding nearby and the police.
The specialized equipment was used in the rescue operation along with the crews of the fire rescue units of the Brigade.
Three cars were involved in the accident and firefighters worked to release three people who had been trapped in a vehicle after the accident.
They were there tasks to the hospital along with three others that were evaluated by paramedics on the scene.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters responded to the reports of a traffic collision at the Wickham Road and Shirley Roundabout crossing in Croydon.
“Three cars were involved in the collision, and the teams worked together with the Metropolitan Police Service and the London ambulance service to facilitate the scene.
“Two of the Brigade Fire Rescue Units, which carry specialized rescue teams, were deployed on the scene as part of our response.
“Firefighters carried out rescue operations to free three people who were trapped
“In vehicles as a result of the collision, before being tasks for the hospital to receive treatment.
“Three other people were evaluated on the paramedics before being transferred to the hospital.
“The brigade was first called about the incident in 2049, and the operations for firefighters concluded in 2255.
“Beckenham, Bromley, Lewisham and surrounding firefighters attended the scene.”
