The school admission team of the Hovering Council processed 3.212 applications, with 89.1 PC of applicants who received their best elementary school option on the day of offer (April 16).
Almost all children in Havering (98.8 PC) were sacrificed one of their listed preferences, an improvement in the figure of last year or 97.7 PC.
Only 44 children were assigned to a school they had not requested, compared to 76 last year.

The team also sacrificed 118 places to schools outside the birthday.
Councilor Oscar Ford, a Cabinet member for children and young people, said: “It is a real challenge to find the best for everyone, but once again the admission team of our schools has the challenge in safe schools for thousands of children.
“The demand for excellent teaching and a school environment remains high and we are pleased to have been able to offer most students one of the schools of their choice.”
Cllr Ford added that the School’s Admissions Team that “once again has worked hard to deliver the assignments of school places on time.”
Parents have until April 30 to accept the place of their children’s elementary school.
