Three people have been accused in relation to drugs and crimes of firearms in a raid in a house in Edinburgh.
The officers confiscated “a series of weapons”, including a firearm and several mobile phones, a raid in a floor at Crewe Road Garden in the Palton area of Edimburg on Thursday.
The Police of Scotland said the “extensive investigations” were in the appointment and said that the incident is part of their investigations on recent crimes in the east and west of the country.
It is scheduled that two men of 41 and 61 years and a 17 -year -old woman appear in the Edinburgh Sheriff’s court on Saturday.
The trial comes in the midst of several incidents related to gangs in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Since March, assaults, shootings and fires in both cities have been treated as potentiax linked to a series of alleged incidents related to gang, with videos of some fires published online.
Det CH SPPT David Ferry, of the Crime Crime Division of the Police of Scotland, said that a “visible police presence” would remain in Palton for a period.
He added: “I want to assure the community that extensive investigations are in this as part of our research on recent incidents in the east and west of the country.
