Whitefield School, at Claremont Road, Cricklewood, will become Clarion School on Friday, July 11.
To celebrate this new chapter, the school is inviting Jin to the community at the festivities in Claremont Park from 2pm to 6pm, promising a live entertainment afternoon, fun activities and community spirit.
The brand change occurs after the school achieved the results of the best of the exams, placing it in the higher 9% of the schools nationwide.
The new name, Clarion, was chosen after consulting with parents, students and the local community.
The school says it reflects its commitment to illuminate young minds and encourage brilliant futures, while referring to its location in Claremont Road.
The renowned school will have a broader curriculum, improved learning and redesigned school uniforms.
Clarion School will continue to provide secondary and sixth education to young people from 11 to 19 years old, and currently have more than 700 students.
