The event, which will take place on April 23, will have a variety of activities focused on reading, writing and creativity.
The library will be open to the public for free.
World Book Night is similar to World Book Day, but focuses on adolescents and adults.
The event will include the raffle of 150 ‘fast readings’, creative writing workshops and a question and answers session with local authors.
There will also be a session of Pintor Tester, a talk about Bromley’s story and a starting market that shows local entrepreneurs.
Other attractions include cocktails, nigerian food, poetry recitals, Shakespeare monologues and student music from the British school.
The comic artist Ken Hopgood, creator or ‘Hulk Buster’ of Marvel, will also be present.
The event is part of the ‘Bromley 60’ celebrations.
Bromley’s libraries are led by GLL, a charitable social company under the ‘best’ brand.
Supporting local communities is a key part of their spirit.
Sally Adcock, GLL libraries manager in the municipality, said: “We are very excited to offer our first world books, continuing our tradition of the events of ‘latent lasa’ after darkness.
“We have some fantastic local authors and illustrators who come in addition to inspiring entrepreneurs and artists who creak, who needs to sleep?”
The event will begin at 6pm on April 23.
