The Borough celebrates its milestone with its largest community event, the We Are Merton Festival on May 5.
The event will take place in Morden Park from noon to 8 pm
Free tickets initially offered Merton’s residents through social networks and the new electronic letter of the Council.
Now, general launch tickets are available for what promises to be a memorable day for families, music fans and visitors of all ages.
The festival will have a variety of musical acts and entertainment.
Heading the event are the DJ duo of Garage Artful Dodger, the ABBA ABBA Revival and Barrioke, directed by Shaun Williams, also known as Barry de Easters.
Other artists include DJ Norman Jay Mbe, the icon after punk Jah Wobble and the rapper born in Merton Ramz.

David and Alistair of Artful Dodger said: “We cannot wait to take the party to Morden Park and celebrate the 60s of Merton.
“It will be a special day for the area, let’s be one to remember.”
Ramz said: “Many know that I grew up in Mitcham, a city that is close to my heart.
“I arrive at the primary, secondary and sixth form in this area, so acting in the Melton’s biggest music and culture event is an opportunity for me to connect with everyone in the district that has seen my trip.
“I will always love and support my city and the municipality of which I am and I encourage people to meet and make this community beautiful.”
The festival will also feature global stalls of street food and drink, attractions of bales and interactive activities, including corners and games.
The Polka Theater in Wimbledon will bring its award -winning production by Romeo and Julieta to the festival.
A theater spokesman said: “As a very dear and very proud merton institution, the Polka Theater is delighted to carry our award-winning production of Romeo and Julieta to the festival, a hip-hop musical artists, bats and elements.
“Relocating Shakespeare’s classic story with Mitcham, Shakespeare’s most famous story is again told through rap, rhythms and beautiful harmonies.
“It’s ‘Romeo and Julieta’, but as you’ve never heard before.”
Councilor Ross Garrod, leader of the Melton Council, said: “We could not be more excited to bring the largest festival in the municipality to Morden Park, with incredible acts such as the ingenious Dodger and the best tribute band to the ABBA in Europe.
“This is the highlight of our merton in 60 celebrations, not only showing our place
“We hope that everyone will join us on May 5 to celebrate our wonderful community spirit and show the world what warm and cozy place Merton is to live, work and visit.”
The Festival is the grand final of a five -week program that celebrates the 60 -year Melton, with community events that take place through April and early May.
Festival tickets are now available to buy in Vea tickets, with a price of £ 15 for adults (16+) and £ 5 for children.
