The Police believe that around 50 crimes were carried out between October 2024 and March 2025.
In most cases, suspects would be fixed to meet with victims in their homes through the Grindr application.
Once inside, they would steal high -value items, including mobile phones.
Police also discovered that the suspects were closely watching the victims while writing their phone pins.
Then they used distraction techniques to steal the phones and continued making digital payments using stolen information.
Superintendent Owen Renowden, who directs the investigation, said:
“This is a series of previously planned crimes where unsuspecting victims have attacked, or in their own homes, which results in the elements of high value are tasks.
“Due to the volume of these crimes and the serious impact on the security of individuals and communities, we are classifying them as possible crimes of hate.”
Three people have arrested on the legs so far.
A 22 -year -old man from Potters Bar in Hertfordshire was arrested on April 3 under suspicion of robbery and fraud.
He has been accused and remains in custody.
Two other men, 27 and 28 years old from Harrow, have also arrested with their legs under suspicion of robbery and are released on bail as the investigation continues.
Supt Renowden added: “Our investigation is progressing to the rhythm, but we believe that there are a number of crimes that have not yet been informed, so he urges anyone who has been attacked or that may have crucial information that, as a son as a son, son of a child.
