Greenwich’s Council has confirmed that residents who have their containers collected on Friday will still have their containers collected next Friday (April 18).
However, all collection dates of the following week have been delayed one day to allow the bank holiday.
Therefore, residents who must collect their containers on Monday, April 21 will now have their containers collected on Tuesday, April 22.
This daily postponement continues during the week until the containers that will be collected on Friday, April 25 are collected on Saturday, April 26. The collection calendar will return to normal on Monday 28.
Greenwich’s advice has also stated that, because Ferwer’s staff works due to bank holidays, the collections are probable.
The Council said that if some containers are collected in their assigned day, they will be updated ‘as soon as possible’, so residents must continue to draw their containers every subfeigent day if their collection is lost.
