The Metropolitan Police said that the patrol officers in Regents Park Road were indicated by the victim, who reported that he had been raped in the park, at 10.50 pm on Friday (April 11).
The incident occurred on the same night as Royal Parks, which manages Primrose Hill, was launching his weekend summer closures.
Royal Parks had previously announced that the doors of the popular open space would be blocked from 10 pm to 6 am on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until October.
Since then it has been argued that the park’s doors were not closed at 10 pm, but an hour later.
A spokesman for the Group of First Residents Hill Watch said he had two concerns: the lack of closing of the doors on time and if the attacker was known by the victim or a rapist was loose.
They said: “Obviously we were waiting for the Royal Park to close on Friday and hoping that happened and noticed that it was not happening.
“It is important that people know that the park was open when it happened. The park was closed late the first night.
“The community also needs to know if the assailant was known by the victim. That is really important.”
He says that the victim was tasks for the hospital for the London ambulance service, and receives the support of specialized police officers.
There are no legs.
Royal Parks did not respond to comments on the closure of the doors.
A spokesman said: “We are deeply saddened by hearing an incident that involves a 16 -year -old girl in Primrose Hill on Friday, April 11.
“Our thoughts are with her and Re -Family. The incident is being invested by the Metropolitan Police.”
