Jason Conde, 41, was imprisoned for more than three years today by a judge who said the attack could have killed her.
The incident took place on May 9 last year, the victim, the mother of one of Count’s children, went to his house to face him for a parenting problem, said prosecutor Gary Venturi to Croydon Crown Court.
Conde says he was “spoiling a fight” and was armed with a police style cane, something that the woman denies.
A fight instantly exploded the duration that the victim felt a series of great blows to his body, knew it on the Times, but Count had stabbed it six times with a repair tool of sharp point tires.
Count arrested her attack when the woman turned blood, according to the court.
Without realizing that she had stabbed her leg, the woman left Count’s house while her family called for an ambulance.
Venturi told the court that the victim realized that he was bleeding and felt breathless while heading home, but said she was afraid that she could die.
She was soon urgently transferred to the hospital by helicopter with a perforated lung and six white weapon wounds.
Later, Count used to a friend’s house and burned clothes in the forest.
When she was arrested on May 12, she said she was acting in self -defense, since she had forced her armed home with a cane.
Despite this, Count declared himself guilty of serious bodily damage.
Venturi summarizes a victim’s statement, he said: “It is horrible to know that some may have this effect on his life. He has ruined his own life and that of all others.”
Jason Conde (Image: With the Police) Piers Kiss-Wilson, defending himself, said that the victim went to Count’s house spoiled a fight and armed with a gun, but admitted that Congress was excessive.
He said Count had shown regrets immediately when he stopped the attack and asked family members to call an ambulance.
The Collins KC recorder, sentence, told Conde: “You just stopped when I was coughing blood and thought I was fitting. This was a prolonged and serious assault. Obviously, you could have killed her.”
The judge said that a probation officer who had evaluated Count concluded that it represents a threat to the partners and former partners.
“I observe that you describe the probation officer as the victim. Given the injuries he suffered, that is a remarkable suggestion,” said recorder Collins.
The condemned count at three years and four months in prison.
