The officers registered a person who knows them as a previous criminal in a taxi on April 10.
A stop and a search was made, after which a knife was found at his waist.
The knife recovered by the Police is a 30 -inch machete in a red and black pod and curved hand protector.
Police added that this was the sixth time that the suspect had been arrested for crimes of supposed or real knives in 12 months.
With the spokesman he said: “On April 10, the Eagle Eye Officers of the proactive team 2 uniformed saw a knife bearer known in a taxi near Kidbrooke.
“He was arrested, recorded and found with a 30 -inch machete at the waist. That is his sixth knife trial in 12 months.”
