The incident occurred at Hillingdon Street, Kennington, just after 9.15 pm yesterday (April 14).
The officers and teams of the London ambulance service attended and found a man who had been stabbed.
He was declared dead shortly after.
Police consultations are ongoing to locate their relatives.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “On Monday, April 14 at 9.16 pm, the police were called to Hillingdon Street, Camberwell, after reports of a stabbing.
“The officers attended the scene along with the London ambulance service that treated a 21 -year -old man for weapon wounds.
“Unfortunately, despite his best efforts, he was declared dead on the scene. The consultations are ongoing and we are working to locate their closest.
