The incident occurred in Plumstead High Street just before 12.20 pm on April 11.
The officers and teams of the London ambulance service were called to the scene.
An ambulance team, an advanced paramedic practitioner and an incident response officer also attended.

A spokesman for the London ambulance service said: “They called us at 12.17 pm (Friday, April 11) for reports of a medical incident in Plumstead High Street, SE18.
“We send resources to the scene, including an ambulance team, an advanced paramedic practitioner and an incident response officer.
“Our teams helped our emergency service partners on the scene. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, a woman died.”
