His friend, director Sun Michael Lindsay-Hogg, said in a statement issued through his agent: “Jean died peacefully in bed attended by one of his beloved caregivers.
“You could say that we were very close for 60 years. It was as wise and fun as anyone with anyone who never, as well as a very beautiful and child, and talented bee as an actress and writer.
“An instinctively empathic person who was loved by all who with her. We talked on the phone almost every day during the last 40 years.”

The drama that was set in the great house of 165 Eaton Place, won Marsh and Emmy by the outstanding main actress in a limited series for her role as the bite maid but finally sincere children.
Marsh was interested in acting after taking dance and mime classes as a disease.
