A body has been found in the search for Kaliyah Coa, 11, who entered the Thames river in North Woolwich on March 31, said the Metropolitan Police.
The body has not yet been formally identified, the strength added, but Kaliyah’s family has been informed and is being supported by specialized officers.
With Said Said he was alerted to a body found in the river in Maritime Quay near the island of the Dogs in eastern London, around 09:00 BST on Sunday.
