Companies in a city in Cornwall have said that tourism and income have increased due to the BBC Beyond Paradise drama.
The program, now in its third series, is filmed in Cornwall and Devon, with the city of Looe Cornwall that prepares the stage for the fictitious city of Shipton Abbott of Devon Devon.
Ben Palmer, a chef and owner of the Sardina factory in LOOE, said: “Beyond Paradise has had a very positive impact on the city. People are visiting us more here, which is great.
“In the restaurant we have seen a massive absorption in the reserves, which is fantastic.”

Mr. Palmer’s business appeared in an episode in the program, although it was called “Ten Mile Kitchen.”
“It was quite fun to see that Restament became something else,” he said.
“People come to visit us to see the set they saw in the episode, so we are very lucky and privileged to have presented.
“And we have seen an elevation in the reserves and I am very sure that other companies have also done so. Everyone at this time of the year and has been welcome hotly.”

Adam Hacket, owner of Choklet, a cocktail bar in LOOE, said the impact of the show had been “incredible.”
“We are seeing a great footprint on the back of the program,” he said.
“We are seeing more customers, including many more foreign tourists, actually.”
He said business had a 20% increase in rakes compared to the same time last year.
“They have seen the program and have taken them to Lou. I think it has made a big difference,” he said.

Jade and Emma Hadley, from Wiltshire, visited shooting places while they were on vacation at Cornwall.
“It’s really pleasant to detect the bits you see on television and turn around,” Jade said.
“We have to see different areas in all Cornwall, but the police station was definitely the highlight. We had our image tasks there.”
Emma said: “It is quite pleasant to see Beyond Paradise while Actuly is in the area where they filmed it. It’s like an additional advantage for our vacations.”
The women also enjoyed seeing family faces of the show.
“We saw Kris Marshall [who plays Det Insp Humphrey Goodman] Walking along the way, “Emma said.
“It was very nice to see him in person.”
