A 25 -year -old woman died and two others have been seriously injured after a car hit pedestrians outside an leisure park.
The pedestrians were beaten by a Gray BMW 3 series in London Road, outside the Crawley leisure park, around 20:35 BST on Saturday, police said.
The 12 -year -old woman’s sister and her cousin, a 19 -year -old woman, both stores in the area, were tasks for the hospital with serious injuries.
A 33 -year -old man from Crawley, was arrested on the scene on suspicion of causing death for driving and driving while not suitable through drugs and remains in police custody.
The three pedestrians were local in the area.
The relatives of the 25 years have been informed and are being supported by specialized officers, Sussex police said.
Ch Spect James Davidson said: “Our thoughts are with the victims’ family at this difficult time and ask that the public respect their right to privacy.
“We quickly arrest a suspect in relation to this tragic incident, and our consultations are doing to establish exact circumstances.”
He said it was a “very populated area” and urged anyone to see what happened or captured any mobile footra, board or CCTV to get in touch.
