Police was called to an accident between a car and a cyclist in Salter Street just after 10 in the morning yesterday (April 11).
London’s ambulance service treated the cyclist at the scene before taking it to the hospital.
Salter Street, which is close to Westferry DLR station, was closed while emergency services worked on the scene.
In a statement issued by the Metropolitan Police last night, a force spokesman said that the cyclist’s condition is not known in the hospital.
No judgment had been issued at that time, and police consultations were described as “Onoing.”
We have approached the police for an update this morning (April 12).
