Surrey Police officers were called around 2 PM this afternoon (April 11) with reports of an accident that involved multiple vehicles between crosses 13 and 12 in an antihorarium sense.
Two of the vehicles involved caught fire in the incident, which resulted in the closed road and the traffic is a hero, while the scene became safe.
Emergency responders are still on the scene, with two of five lanes now open.
The ambulance service of the Southeast Coast was also sent to the accident in two ambulances, where they discovered two patients with injuries.
They were treated at the scene before being tasks of a hospital in Chertsey.
According to a Surrey police spokesman, one of the injured patients has suffered serious injuries.
They said: “We received a report from a collision of four vehicles in the M25 anti -in anti -ugurium sense between unions 13 and 12, which took place at 2 pm this afternoon (April 11).
“A person was hospital tasks for the treatment of serious injuries.

“Because two of the vehicles caught, the road closed temporarily, however, two lanes are now open.”
The delays in the area are leaving an hour, with the congestion that supports the Junction 17.
Surrey’s Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for a comment.
