Lewis Benjamin, 30, or Waddon New Road, Croydon and Jamal Ali-Richards, 29, or Thornlaaw Road, Norwood were sentenced today at Woolwich Crown Court (April 10).
It occurs after an eight -week trial linked to the death of Justin Henry, who was reported as disappeared in October 2023.
The court listened to how Benjamin and Ali-richards were discarding the body of the 34-year-old man and trying to clean the evidence of his death while appearing as a missing person after not being able to return home.
Justin was last seen alive at a McDonald’s Drive-Thru in Croydon on October 15, 2023, before driving Waddon New Road, where Benjamin lived.
Benjamin ran to his garden and threw his phone when the police appeared in his address (Image: Metropolitan Police) His car remained stationary for more than two hours before he moved to Kingswood Drive, almost 20 minutes.
It is believed that Justin died at the time of the moving of the vehicle.
Benjamin was observed as a suspect as a result of the car location, along with his friend Ali-richards.
Within his direction, the police discovered that most of the furniture took his leg and the carpet laughed.
The court heard how the floor had seemed recently cleaned, which caused the property to be declared a crime scene.
Forensic officers locate small blood splashes on the walls and black plastic bags with a very soybred carpet in blood less than 100 meters away.
This blood was tested against the one inside the floor and was combined with Justin.
Benjamin was arrested on October 24, 2023, after he ran into his rear garden and threw his phone.
Ali-richards was a friend of Benjamin (Image: Metropolitan Police) When his phone was analyzed, he showed that Benjamin had his leg in contact with Justin before his disappearance.
In the interview, he refused to answer questions and was accused the day of murder.
On October 27, 2023, Ali-Richards delivered to the Police and was accused of murder on October 29.
Justin’s body was located in the trunk of a car bought by the defendants who had bought the leg in the days after Justin’s death and parked in Dale Road, Purley, with false plates.
Both men declared themselves in innocent murder, but declared themselves guilty of perverting the course of justice this year.
They will appear in Woolwich Crown Court on June 10 by sentence.

“Today’s verdict is a testimony of the thorough efforts of the research team. Benjamin and Ali-richards did everything possible to get rid of evidence and cover their footprints, which included significant attempts to get rid of Justin’s body. Despite these efforts, the team worked tirelessly to rebuild the tests and establish the facts.
“Justin’s loss still has a lasting and devastating impact on his family and friends.
“Through research and judgment, strength and resistance shown by them have been extraordinary. I hope that today’s verdict gives them an opportunity to begin to rebuild their lives.”
